The Lake City Welfare Club declared that the club’s annual elections would be held on Sunday. The members met on Thursday under the chairmanship of the club president Abha Shah. Rekha Trivedi was appointed as the election officer and Deepa Pandey as the assistant election officer.
The club president said that the club elections are held annually. She added that the club organises more than 30 events throughout the year in Nainital, including Holi festival, blood donation, Mother’s Day, dress distribution, Harela festival, Dandiya, Pagal Gymkhana and a culinary competition. “The club has begun preparations for the elections,” she said.
