The Dehradun zonal office of UCO Bank organised the UCO Rajbhasha Samman programme on Friday. During the event, two meritorious students who had completed their MA in Hindi for the 2023–25 session from DAV (PG) College, Dehradun, affiliated with Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, were felicitated for their academic excellence.
Among the dignitaries present on the occasion was the deputy zonal head of the bank, Amish Nath Jha. He said that the programme aimed to promote the use of Hindi as the official language and to encourage young scholars contributing to its growth. “UCO Bank remains committed to promoting the Hindi language and encouraging talented youth through such initiatives,” he added.
