In latest news from Doon, one person was shot dead while two others received bullet injuries at Dobhal Chowk in Raipur of Dehradun. Though the shooting incident happened at night the body of the deceased Ravi Badola, resident of Raipur, was found in a sewerage line in the morning. The injured duo was admitted at Coronation Hospital.
Police said that fires were shot during heated altercation between two groups. They further said that the dispute over the selling price of an old car belonging to Badola triggered the shooting incident. Though Badola fixed the price at Rs four lakh the person who purchased the car Devendra Sharma, living in a place near Dobhal Chowk, insisted that he would pay just Rs 3.5 lakh. Exasperated, Badola went to Sharma’s house to take away the car with his two friends. That was when Sharma came back with his friends and opened fire. Badola tried to run away after being shot but he fell in a sewerage line and later died.
