During the ceremony, the widow of Indo-Pak War martyr Guardsman Sundar Singh, Amra Devi was felicitated with a shawl and a memento.

Addressing the ceremony, the Gangotri MLA said that Vijay Diwas is a sacred occasion. “The Indian Armed Forces displayed indomitable courage, valour and sacrifice in the 1971 war, achieving a historic victory over Pakistan.
