Tthe 300th branch of Punjab National Bank in Uttarakhand was inaugurated at IT Park here on Thursday. Importantly, this branch is the State’s first startup branch opened specifically for startup financing. Inaugurating the new branch, the regional director, Reserve Bank of India, Arvind Kumarsaid thatthis is the 96th branch of the bank in Dehradun district. This branch would also cater to the banking needs of salaried individuals and high net worth individuals (HNIs), senior bank officers said.
In his address, thezonal head, PNB, Uttarakhand, Anupam said: “With the opening of this new branch in IT Park, Dehradun, we aim to provide a world-class banking experience to the city’s startups, other residents, businesses and youth. This branch is a beautiful amalgamation of both digital and traditional services, allowing customers to access all banking services under one roof.”
