Joshi inspects under construction Sainya Dham

 Soldier Welfare minister Ganesh Joshi visited the Sainya Dham on Friday and took stock of the ongoing construction and maintenance work there. In his visit, the minister gave necessary instructions to the officers concerned to improve the arrangements at the Sainya Dham. He directed that a circular base with proper finishing should be built around the Shaurya Stambh.

Joshi directed that the stones at the base of the railing and pillars of the museum should be polished and finished in a better manner and necessary repairs and maintenance be carried out. He also directed that the nameplates of the martyrs be arranged in a uniform and in a line. The minister also inspected the wall panelling of the auditorium.

He instructed officials to pay special attention to quality, cleanliness, and finishing in all works related to the Sainya Dham. Joshi averred that Sainya Dham is an important place to honour the brave soldiers and martyrs of Uttarakhand and therefore, everyone who visits here should have access to a better and dignified environment.

Secretary Yugal Kishore Pant, director brigadier (retd) DS Basera, MD of UPNL brigadier (retd) JNS Bisht and others accompanied the minister.
