Shantikunj welcomes global peace leader Abdulla Al Mannai from Bahrain

The executive director of The King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, Bahrain, Abdulla Al Mannai arrived at the headquarters of All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP), Shantikunj on a mission to strengthen global peace. He also visited Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV) in Haridwar. Among those who welcomed the guest was the pro-vice chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya and the youth representative of All World Gayatri Pariwar, Chinmay Pandya.
Pandya shared how the guiding vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family—continued to inspire Shantikunj and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in their mission of nurturing individuals committed to peace, service and universal harmony.
Al Mannai interacted with the students of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya and admired their values, confidence and aspirations. He emphasised that the students of the university are all set to evolve not just into leaders of India but leaders for the entire world, capable of carrying forward the torch of coexistence and compassion. He noted that such an educational model, blending scientific progress with spiritual wisdom, is vital for the future of humanity. He also joined ‘Unnayan’, the university’s cultural orientation programme for new students.
While highlighting the deep cultural connections between India and Bahrain, Pandya highlighted the nearly 220-year-old Shrinathji Temple in Bahrain, noting with gratitude Abdulla Al Mannai’s significant contribution to the shrine’s preservation.
