The State government has directed all the heads of the departments to promote the myScheme portal and ensure that a maximum number of citizens are connected with it to facilitate effective coordination and implementation of the schemes.
The portal provides the citizens direct access to information about scheme eligibility, benefits, application processes and related departmental details all in one place. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had unveiled this important initiative to present information about the public welfare schemes being run in the State in a simple, accessible and timely manner.
The portal offers online access to all the schemes published in the ‘My Scheme’ books prepared by the Programme Implementation department of the State government. “The goal of this portal is to give citizens of the State up-to-date information on all welfare schemes operated by both the Central and State governments, allowing eligible beneficiaries to gain maximum benefits. The portal aims to ensure that benefits reach every eligible citizen in a timely and transparent manner, ensuring that no beneficiary is left out due to lack of information,’’ an official said.
