BJP announces list of State spokespersons in Uttarakhand

The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced the list of State spokespersons for Uttarakhand on Thursday. The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan released the names of nine spokespersons following instructions from the State president Mahendra Bhatt. The list includes names of senior leaders like Khajan Das, Vinod Chamoli and Kunwar Japendra Singh from Dehradun, Mathura Datt Joshi from Pithoragarh, Narayan Thakur from rural Dehradun, Gurvinder Singh Chandok from Kashipur, Honey Pathak and Kamlesh Raman from Dehradun and Vikas Bhagat from Nainital. Chauhan said that the appointment of these spokespersons is aimed at strengthening the party’s communication strategy ahead of the Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha elections in 2027. The spokespersons will represent the party in the media and public forums, share party positions on issues and engage with voters, which will help BJP consolidate its presence across districts and influence public opinion, he added.
