Online counselling for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and MCA courses for the academic session 2026-27 at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology commenced on Tuesday.
Informing this, the university’s examination controller, A K Upadhyay said that the online counselling process would be conducted from July 21 to 24. “At the graduate level, online options will be filled for Uttarakhand candidates for 130 regular and 46 paid seats in BSc (Agriculture), 65 regular and 24 paid seats in B V Sc and AH, 70 regular and 10 paid seats in BSc Community Science, 24 regular and four paid seats in B F Sc (Fisheries), 15 regular and 15 paid seats in BTech Food Technology and 20 regular and 20 paid seats in B Tech Biotechnology.
Upadhyay further stated that candidates would be allocated seats based on their entrance exam rank and merit. “Additionally, admissions to postgraduate and MCA courses will be conducted through online counselling based on available seats in various subjects,” he added.
Urging the candidates to complete the online counselling process within the stipulated time period, he said that detailed information, guidelines and counselling process related to admission are available on the official website of the university www.gbpuat.ac.in .
