Arya instructs officials to make proposal for youth policy & commission

The Sports and Youth Welfare minister Rekha Arya has instructed the officials concerned to draft a proposal for the formation of a youth policy and youth commission in the State. Chairing a meeting with the Sports and Youth Welfare department on Saturday, Arya said that the government is working swiftly to fulfill its promise of forming a youth policy and youth commission in the State, in line with the BJP’s manifesto. She asked the officials to prepare the proposal promptly.
Additionally, Arya directed the officials to prepare a proposal aimed at fostering self-reliance and empowerment for the youth and Mahila Mangal Dal. She stressed on the importance of aligning the proposal with the current needs of Mahila Mangal Dal and Navyuvak Mangal Dal. Arya said that several announcements made by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for Prantiya Rakshak Dal (PRD) Jawans have been followed by government orders, including an incentive amount during the Char Dham Yatra.
The process of registering PRD Jawans through the portal is ongoing and instruction has been given to the department for the extension of the deadline for registration, providing a last chance for the PRD Jawans, she added.
