Cong playing Aishwarya card in Kedarnath bypoll
PNS/ RUDRAPRAYAG
In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the November 20 Kedarnath Assembly bypoll mercury ascending fast, the opposition Congress-bent on wresting this crucial seat from the saffron stranglehold -keeps harping on the ‘injustice’ done by the BJP to the daughter of the deceased MLA Saila Rani Rawat whose death necessitated the bypoll Aishwarya Rawat by choosing another one over her for the party nomination. A bunch of senior Congress leaders from Harish Rawat to Ganesh Godiyal and Karan Mahara to the party candidate Manoj Rawat are fiercely latching on to the issue during their high-voltage campaigning to capitalise the sympathy factor with the hope that this would help them tilt the bypoll balance in their party’s favour.
