The entrance examination for classes VII and IX at Sainik School Ghorakhal is likely to take place in the second week of February, as per the revised notification issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Normally, this examination is held in the first week of January.
The principal of the school, V S Dangwal, shared that the NTA is responsible for conducting the entrance examination each year. This year, however, the agency has changed the date and the exam may be held in the second week of February.
Officials informed that the online applications for the entrance exam would be accepted until January 23. The last date for submitting the examination fee online is January 24. Additionally, there will be a window for correcting any errors in the entrance examination form from January 26 to 28. It may be recalled that the Sainik School, located in the Nainital district, is one of the prominent Sainik Schools in the country and has produced many officers for the Indian Army over the years. The school conducts entrance examinations for classes VII and IX annually.
