Chicago Open University recently held a convocation at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, celebrating the achievements of 60 distinguished individuals who were conferred with Honoris Causa for their outstanding contributions across diverse fields, including a special Honoris Causa in Green Initiatives. The senior university officials said that the event stood testament to its mission of recognising thought leaders, innovators and change-makers dedicated to making a positive impact on the society.
As part of its ongoing efforts to foster innovation and excellence, the university also presented Certificates of Excellence in Drone under the visionary tagline ‘Drone: Revolutionising Tomorrow.’ These certificates honoured eminent drone entrepreneurs who have significantly advanced drone technology. Besides, Chicago Open University launched an innovative online study programme in Transpersonal Leadership to equip the future leaders with transformational skills, emphasising self-awareness, ethical decision-making and a holistic approach to leadership. This is designed to nurture visionary leaders prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
Among the dignitaries present at the convocation were the former national vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Shyam Jaju, director general of Maharishi University Prof O P Sharma and national chairperson of the Minority Commission Iqbal Singh Lalpuria among others.
