In latest news from Uttarakhand, one youth aged 16 was killed and three youths were injured when a car and a canter truck had a head-on collision on Gethia highway in the Tallital area of Nainital town. Police informed that the car rammed into the canter truck from behind and the collision left the car badly mangled. Four youths sitting inside the car sustained injuries.
A police team from Jeolikote rushed to the spot and sent the four to hospitals. They were identified as Garv, Manas, Lokesh and Daan. While Garv was admitted to the Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital the other three were admitted to B D Pandey Hospital. Garv was declared brought dead. Police further said that the driver of the canter truck Diwakar Joshi from Almora was being questioned.
