NAINITAL: Lake City Welfare Club in collaboration with Nainital Bank organised a programme to mark the Mother’s Day during which 12 women were felicitated. The organisers said that these women had been selected for honour at the commemorative programme for their hard work to help their families survive and thrive.
The High Court’s registrar general, Yogesh Kumar Gupta and Nainital Bank’s senior manager Rajendra Singh inaugurated it and hailed the contribution of mothers in building a family and society. The women members of the club gave a cultural presentation in honour of the mothers.
In the function, senior journalist Prof Girish Ranjan Tiwari said that a mother stands incomparable in the society. Among those present was the club president Kavita Tripathi.
