St Thomas’ College, Dehradun celebrated its 110th Annual Speech and Prize Day on Saturday, marking one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the school calendar. The chief guests for the occasion were the former inspector general of police, Uttar Pradesh, Sharad Sachanand Anuradha Sachan. Among the other dignitaries present on the occasion was the principal and former MLA, R V Gardner.
The programme commenced with an academic procession, featuring the teaching staff in their traditional academic gowns. Prizes were then awarded to students in recognition of their exceptional achievements in academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities.
A highlight of the day was the variety entertainment programmes presented by the students.
