Sherwood College principal Amandeep Sandhu has been appointed as the secretary of the Diocese of Agra. The bishop of the diocese, BK Nayak made the appointment on the recommendation of the executive committee. Sandhu’s term will be for a three-year period, effective till the next council. The term can be extended if needed. Those involved in the education sector and religious institutions congratulated Sandhu on the development. A total of 62 schools, four hospitals and four degree colleges are operated under the diocese. Speaking after his appointment, Sandhu said that the post of secretary in the Diocese of Agra is an important post, adding that he will discharge his responsibility while maintaining the dignity of the position.
