The first stage of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls which involves training of booth level officers (BLOs) in three phases and printing of enumeration forms of all the voters has been completed in Uttarakhand.
The additional chief electoral officer, Vijay Kumar Jogdande informed the mediapersons at the State secretariat on Friday that the BLOs will now visit all the households of the State from June 8 to July 7 to distribute and collect the enumeration forms. During this period the voter enumeration forms will be digitized and uploaded through the BLO App. He informed that the SIR process will be completed in Uttarakhand based on the eligibility date of July 1, 2026.
The ACEO said that if any voter is not available at home between this period (June 8 to July 7), then the BLO will visit his/her house thrice. He said that the draft electoral roll will be published on July 14, 2026. The voters can register claims and objections between July 14 to August 13. The commission will issue notices to the people in case of any discrepancies from July 14 to September 11 and all the claims and objections will be resolved during this period. The final voter list of the State will be published on September 15, 2026.
Jogdande further informed that the enumeration forms will be made available to 79,60,762 voters in the State.
He added that voters can also download their forms online through the ECI Net App and upload it after duly filling it.
Jogdande informed that for the convenience of voters, the Election Commission of India has introduced the “Book a Call with BLO” feature, through which voters can book a call with their BLO with just one click. He added that for the convenience of voters, the 2003 voter list is available on the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Uttarakhand, ceo.uk.gov.in.
