31 dengue cases in Dehradun so far

A total of 31 dengue cases have been reported this year till July 9 in Dehradun district. According to data from the Health department, 18 of these cases are from Dehradun, while 13 have been reported from other States and districts. Out of the 31 cases, 30 individuals have recovered and one person has been admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh hospital. There have been no fatalities reported so far. The Dehradun chief medical officer Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma urged residents to take necessary precautions to prevent dengue, which include clearing stagnant water in their homes and surroundings. He specifically asked citizens to observe ‘Har Ravivar Dengue Pe Vaar’ which encourages residents to inspect their properties for any containers or areas that may collect stagnant water and to drain them.
