Result improvement examinations under UVSP conclude

The result improvement Examinations for 2026 (First) and 2025 (Third) conducted by the Uttarakhand Vidhyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) began on July 22 and concluded on Wednesday.

According to officials, the examinations took place at 97 centres across the State, with 8,472 candidates registered for the class X Result Improvement Examination and 11,078 candidates for the class XII Result Improvement Examination.

The officials also stated that in the next phase, the evaluation of answer sheets will be conducted from August 3 to August 7. During this period, 12,972 answer sheets from the high school level and 7,968 from the intermediate level will be evaluated. A total of 409 teachers have been appointed for this evaluation: 189 at the class X level and 220 at the class XII level.

The UVSP officials said that schools can download these orders and provide them to the concerned teachers. The evaluation will be conducted under CCTV surveillance to ensure proper assessment. Additionally, 100 per cent of the evaluated answer sheets will be checked at the evaluation centres. Security arrangements will also be provided at each centre. A supervisor has been assigned to each evaluation centre to monitor the entire process and report to the board, they added.
