Covid curfew extended by a week in U’khand

The State government has extended the Covid curfew which was to end on June 1 by seven days.
Informing about the decision, cabinet minister and state government spokesman Subodh Uniyal said that this time, the general provisions stores will be allowed to open from 8 AM to 1 PM on two days- June 1 and 5 whereas PDS ration shops will open daily from 8 AM to 11 AM as earlier.
According to the order issued by the chief secretary Om Prakash, another relaxation provided this time is that stationery and book shops will also be allowed to open from 8 AM to 1 PM on June 1 and 5.
The rest of the restrictions and relaxations will be observed as in the earlier phases of the Covid curfew so far.
