An accident took place on Haridwar highway when a couple with their five year boy were riding on the bike and got hit by roadways bus. The accident took place on Tuesday. According to the police, the person riding the bike was on his way to Roorkee with his wife and as soon as they reached near Beladi village in Roorkee, a roadways bus coming from behind hit them due to which the wife, who was a pillion rider died on the spot. The bus driver tried to flee the spot but was caught by the angry villagers. They are reportedly adamant on demanding the commission. The police is making continous efforts to convince them.
