The Bank of India launched its Branch Adalat pan India campaign from January 31 to February 5 with the objective of providing relief to the
borrowers affected by the Covid pandemic. The campaign was aimed at providing relief especially to small borrowers with outstanding loans below Rs 25 lakh. It covered loans under agriculture, MSME, retail and personal loans. Considering the good response, the bank has decided to relaunch the campaign.
A total of 6,84,000 NPA borrowers were eligible under this campaign and availed benefits of the campaign. The bank could settle NPA loans
amounting to Rs 407 crore during this campaign.
Considering the good response, Bank of India has decided to relaunch the campaign from February 28 to March 5 to provide another
opportunity to the borrowers who could not avail the benefits or participate during the last Branch Adalat campaign.
