Even as fatal road accidents continue at an alarming frequency in Uttarakhand, popular singer Gunjan Dangwal died in a road accident at Panchkula in Haryana on Saturday. The 26 year old singer had left his home in Banjarawala area of Dehradun on Friday night by car for some work in Chandigarh. He was driving a Swift car alone when it reportedly rammed into a divider in Panchkula on Saturday. Dangwal reportedly died on the spot. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and many others have expressed shock and grief at the death of the young singer.
Among his renditions, Cheta Ki Chetwali had become especially popular.
