Three books with a positive message for readers
PNS | DEHRADUN
Tathastu! Your Success Granted
This book by Ankit Thakar provides the time tested “success mantras” to remove obstacles on the path to success. The author lets the readers explore the uncharted terrain of a successful life. Everyone has the potential to achieve something outstanding. However, the beliefs of people about themselves fix the limits of their achievements. Every individual has an assessment of himself and that basic self-assessment goes far towards determining what one can become. The book encourages the reader to pursue the desire for success. The author aims to tap the reader’s inherent energy and concentrate scattered thoughts into a singular focal point- success. Answers to various questions are explained in this book using simple and structured techniques. Thakar says, “When you pay constructive thoughts to your subconscious mind, in return, it owes you infinite success and satisfaction.”
The Hidden Gems
In her book “The Hidden Gems,” the author Aman Talwar comes up with a different view of life where she writes about recognising the hidden gems in life and how these gems have big keys to happiness in them. Through her book, she attempts to open people’s eyes to a different world and tries to highlight the little things that many may have been ignoring subconsciously and tries to make them realize them. In her short book of fewer than 100 pages, Talwar packs up different thoughts and ideas, which are supplemented by interesting pictures and titles. Further, she applies different forms of writing to express her thoughts. Through these different forms, she creates an intangible rhythm that resonates in the senses of the readers. As the preface says, the book takes the readers on a “flight to the offbeat destinations,” where the only objective is to take a break from the routine of life and give some moments to introspect.
Mai Hi Kyu?
Contributing to the literary genre of poetry, the book ‘Mai Hi Kyu?’ authored by Sneha Vishwakarma is a reflection of the author’s self as happy or sad or engulfed with thoughts of the past endeavours and failures at times. Moreover, being one of the mass called humans this work is an attempt in portraying the vicissitudes, sunny and cloudy days that every human comes across in life. Each of the 58 poems in this book are an attempt at sketches of emotional love, pain that comes in human life, factors that affect the life of people and so on. Vishwakarma’s writing typically focuses on ironies of lives and phases of relationships; hoping that her writing will give the words to those who have gone through and felt like what she did.
