The governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh visited the Military Hospital in Dehradun on Friday and met the soldiers injured in the recent disaster in Dharali area and enquired about their health.
While interacting with the soldiers, Singh appreciated their courage, bravery and devotion to duty and wished for their speedy recovery. The governor also heard the experiences of the injured soldiers and appreciated their morale and spirit. He obtained detailed information about the health of the admitted soldiers from the doctors and directed that proper treatment facilities be provided to them.
The general officer commanding (GoC) of Uttarakhand Sub Area, Major General MPS Gill and other senior army officers were present on the occasion.
