Noted spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) arrived in Ayodhya on Tuesday to take part in the Shri Ram Yantra Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple on March 19, coinciding with the start of Chaitra Navratri and the Hindu New Year.

Invited by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Amma joins a line-up of prominent spiritual figures for the ceremony, which will also be attended by President Droupadi Murmu. The installation of the sacred Yantra is being positioned as a key spiritual milestone in the temple’s evolving journey.

Travelling with nearly 1,200 devotees and monks, Amma’s arrival adds a significant spiritual dimension to what is expected to be a large-scale gathering of over 7,000 invitees, alongside ongoing Vedic rituals led by priests from across the country.
