Faculty Development Programme concludes at VMSBUTU

The five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Future Communication Technology” concluded at the Women Institute of Technology (WIT), a campus institute of Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University on Friday.

Organised by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, the programme brought together eminent experts from across the country, who shared insights into emerging trends in communication technologies and their practical applications. Key areas of focus included 6G, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, drone technology and advancements aimed at enhancing the efficiency of telecommunication systems.

The programme was conducted under the joint aegis of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, and Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University.

Among those present were the director, WIT, Manoj Kumar Panda; Debashish Ghosh, IIT Roorkee and Ashwini Sharma, IIT Ropar.
