Nandotsav was celebrated with joy and devotion on the occasion of Janmashtami at Parwati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar Senior Secondary School in Nainital.
The principal of the institution, Surya Prakash inaugurated the programme. The students presented cultural programmes and took out tableaus on Lord Krishna. Through a dance presentation, they depicted Lord Krishna’s childhood.
Addressing the children, the principal said that Lord Krishna’s life exemplified dharma and the absolute truth of life and the need to cling to them in life. Other senior functionaries of the school said that such programmes promote the spiritual culture represented by the land called Bharat.
