THDC India Limited celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour. The chairman and managing director, THDCIL, Sipan Kumar Garg unfurled the national flag at its corporate headquarters in Rishikesh and addressed employees across project sites and offices through virtual platform, highlighting the PSU’s collective commitment to constitutional values, discipline and nation-building through sustainable and reliable power generation.
He underlined that THDCIL’s journey over the years reflects sustained performance, resilience, and strategic growth, noting that THDCIL’s installed capacity has increased by nearly 130 per cent, rising from 1,587 MW to 3,657 MW. He further underscored that this growth has been accompanied by a strengthening of THDCIL’s financial standing, with the company’s credit rating upgrading from “AA” to “AA+”, reaffirming its robust operational performance and financial discipline.
The celebrations were observed across its projects and offices, marked by cultural programmes, patriotic performances and employee participation.
