To further strengthen health facilities in Uttarkashi district, the director of the Medical Health and Family Welfare department, Garhwal Division, Dr R C Pant inspected the Community Health Centre, Chinyalisaur; the Primary Health Centre, Dunda and the District Hospital to assess the current state of health services. He came to the district on a one-day visit.
During the inspection, Dr Pant inspected various wards of the district hospital, including the Emergency room, ICU, OPD, pathology, cardiology and maternity wards aside from NBSU, surgical ward, eye ward and cardiology section. He directly interacted with patients and took feedback regarding the treatment and available facilities. He appreciated that the district hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic facilities in its cardiology section, such as Echo, TMT, PFT and CT scan.
The chief medical officer, Dr B S Rawat and the chief superintendent Dr P S Pokhriyal were present during Dr Pant’s inspection.
