SSP Dehradun orders regular cleaning of police weapons

The senior superintendent of police (SSP) of Dehradun, Pramendra Dobal, instructed the quartermaster inspector at the Police Line to ensure that the weapons stored in the armory are cleaned regularly and that subordinate officers and employees practice their handling. He said this during a parade inspection at the Police Line in Dehradun on Friday, emphasising the importance of regular parades for maintaining the mental and physical health of police personnel. 

During his inspection of the armory at the police line, Dobal gathered information about the weapons and items stored there, providing necessary instructions. He also inspected the store office within the police line, directing that the availability of anti-riot equipment, bulletproof jackets and other gear be ensured through regular physical checks. He reviewed the registers kept in the store to obtain information about other government properties.

Additionally, during his assessment of the residential complex, barracks and canteen, he stressed the importance of cleanliness and directed attention to maintenance. The officer in charge was instructed to uphold high food quality standards in the canteen for the employees.

While inspecting the Police Modern School located within the Police Line, SSP Dehradun interacted with teachers to gather information about their teaching efforts and emphasised the need to prioritise the interests of the students. 

During his visit to the transport branch of the police line, SSP Dobal checked on the cleanliness and condition of the available vehicles, offering necessary guidance for the maintenance of government vehicles.
