The 156th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the 121st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri were celebrated at GBP University of Agriculture and Technology with the participation of the vice-chancellor, principals, teachers, staff and students.
After paying floral tributes to these towering leaders, the VC Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that their ideals are still relevant in the context of education as well as individual, society and the nation and urged all to tread the path they had shown through their nationalism-charged lives.
