The Asian School hosted a staff vs students basketball match over the weekend. The class XII students’ team beat the staff team by a narrow margin of three points, the organisers of the event said.
The captain of victorious team, Naman Saini emerged as the highest scorer of the match with an impressive 48 points.
In recognition of performance, Naman Saini was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) from the students’ side while Amal Rai received the MVP award from the staff team. The title of Most Promising Player was conferred upon Himanshu Panwar from the staff team for his impressive performance.
The principal, Ruchi Pradhan Datta spoke of the spirit of sportsmanship, unity and mutual respect while addressing the event.
