Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that Uttarakhand has a favorable environment for film shooting, offering significant potential for growth in the film industry. He said this during a courtesy visit from the organisers of the “India Digital Empowerment Meet and Awards” ceremony at CM residence on Thursday. Various topics related to the event were discussed in detail.
CM emphasised that events like this are essential, as they allow experts to deliberate on a range of subjects related to artificial intelligence (AI), technology and science. He expressed confidence that the conclusions and recommendations from this conference will have positive outcomes and provide new directions for the digital development of both the State and the country.
Dhami pointed out that Uttarakhand is a strategically important State and a significant tourist destination. He noted that over 60 million devotees and tourists visit various religious and tourist sites in the State each year, which strengthens the State’s economy.
He also highlighted that Uttarakhand boasts many attractive locations due to its natural beauty and cultural diversity. Further, the State offers excellent opportunities for industrial investment, which the government is dedicated to enhancing.
CM said that Uttarakhand has immense potential to be developed as a wedding destination. With its picturesque locales and modern facilities, the State is ideal for destination weddings. He assured that the government is focused on developing the necessary infrastructure and facilities to realise this vision.
