Indo-Norwegian Information and Cultural Forum felicitates Padma Shri Dr B K S Sanjay

The Indian-Norwegian Information and Cultural Forum conferred ‘Spiel Sanskriti Samman’ upon Padma Shri recipient, Orthopaedic surgeon and writer, Dr Bhupendra Kumar Singh Sanjay in recognition of his outstanding contribution to culture and literature at a special function organised on the occasion of Hindi Diwas in Oslo presided over by the forum president, Suresh Chandra Shukla.
In his address, Dr Sanjay recited his self-composed poem ‘Viksit Bharat Dhyey Hamara’ and appealed to the Indian diaspora to actively contribute towards realising the Viksit Bharat vision.
Dr Gaurav Sanjay shared tips for maintaining good health and preventing accidents. He highlighted the importance of proper lighting in homes, installing stair railings, ensuring non-slippery bathrooms, consuming calcium and vitamin D-rich diets and engaging in regular physical activities.
The celebration witnessed participation from the Indian-Norwegian community, representing diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, including Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil and Punjabi.
