The final match of the 12th Inter-School Girls Basketball Competition held at All Saints’ College Nainital was played between All Saints’ College Ballu team and Sainik School Ghorakhal team in which the former won by a huge margin of 48-9 points. Zaina Rehman of the winning team scored 35 points alone while RV Sharma and Divyanshi Bisht added four points each while Pragya Pandey from Sainik School Ghorakhal scored four points.
At the closing ceremony, the vice- chancellor of Kumaun University, Dewan Singh Rawat presented trophies to the winning and runner-up teams and praised the sportsmanship of all the players. The Principal of the host school, Anjana Richards also addressed the closing ceremony.
