The department of Political Science at DSB campus, Kumaun University organised a campus- level debate competition on the topic ‘RTI has helped in increasing administrative efficiency and accountability in government departments’ at the initiative of the campus director, Prof Neeta Bora Sharma. A total of 12 students presented their views for and against the topic.
After the competition, the jury announced the names of two winners of the competition: Arnav Tripathi (BA 5th Semester) and Nandini Joshi (BA LLB 5th Semester).
This second round of the competition was held by the Uttarakhand Information Commission at Doon University, and the best speaker award was given to Arnav Tripathi of DSB campus,
The vice-chancellor of Kumaun University, Diwan Singh Rawat along with several senior faculty members congratulated Tripathi on this achievement.
