VS speaker inaugurates workshop on employment generation at Bharadisain

Vidhan Sabha speaker Ritu Khanduri inaugurated a two-day seminar ‘permanent employment generation- foundation of a developed Uttarakhand’ at International Institute of Parliamentary Studies, Research and Training at Bharadisain in Gairsain on Thursday.
In her address the speaker said that a young State like Uttarakhand requires such practical platforms for its better future. She said that such platforms will not just limit the youngsters on the options of finding a job but will encourage them for employment generation. Khanduri said that the workshop is a major step forward in providing knowledge of networking and guidance which will play a key role in the direction of achieving the goal of Viksit Uttarakhand.
After the formal inauguration noted artist Harish Bharti enthralled the audience with his mask dance. In the inaugural session the students of Kotdwar, Gairsain and Karnprayag colleges expressed their views on the subject.
On the first day, discussions of tourism, industry and art and culture were held. The speakers in these sessions informed the youngsters their own experiences. They told them that there are immense employment opportunities in the State even though the resources here are limited. Karnprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal and others attended the programme.
