In a tragic incident in Ganga Nagar, Rishikesh, father and his son died within a few hours of each other. First, Ved Prakash Kapoor (84) had died and then his son Sachin Kapoor collapsed and died after his father’s body had been brought home. Later, the funeral of the father and son were carried out btogether on Wednesday and then they were cremated.
It is learnt that they were residents of Lane Number 4 in Hanumant Puram, Ganganagar. The elderly man had been in poor health for the past months and he died at AIIMS, Rishikesh while undergoing treatment. As Sachin had fainted on seeing his father’s body, he was rushed to AIIMS where he was declared dead.
