Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has greeted the pilgrims arriving in the State for the Char Dham Yatra. In a statement on the eve of the Yatra on Friday, the CM expressed confidence that this year’s Char Dham Yatra will break all past records.
He said that the Char Dham Yatra is like a festival for the State. “Millions of devotees from India and abroad come to Uttarakhand for the Char Dham Yatra. Arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth and safe journey for all the pilgrims. It will be our endeavour that all pilgrims who come on the Yatra return with good memories of their time spent in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand,’’ he said.
The CM appealed to all the officers deployed on Char Dham Yatra to discharge their duties in an efficient manner so that the devotees face no inconvenience.
