Player Bhumi Sharma from Dharampur, Nehru Colony, was accorded a warm welcome upon her return after representing India in the Women’s International Futsal League in Thailand. A welcome ceremony was held in Nehru Colony in her honour.
Before achieving this milestone, Sharma excelled in various football competitions across Uttarakhand, winning numerous matches. Further, a scholarship from Lovely Professional University (LPU) provided her with new opportunities.
After her win in Thailand, Sharma is now set to compete in the Punjab League.
