On the auspicious occasion of the Uttarayan festival and Ghughutiya festival, Nainital Dugdh Utpadak Sahakari Sangh Limited (NDUSSL), Lalkuan distributed free kulhar milk from a pandal set up near the municipal corporation building on Thursday.
The president, NDUSSL, Mukesh Bora said that pure, nutritious and hot milk had been distributed among devotees and passers-by who arrived at the fair.
During this time, nearly 7,000 people tasted Aanchal Milk. “People were thrilled to receive hot milk in a Kulhar in the cold weather,” Bora said.
The people present at the fair said that this type of initiative, on the one hand, encourages local milk producers and on the other, promotes traditional Kulhar culture.
