An elderly woman died after eating poisonous mushrooms while the condition of her daughter-in-law who had also eaten the same was critical. After receiving the information, teams from police and Health departments reached their village- Kunwari under Kapkot block in Bageshwar district.
The deceased villager was Dhanuli Devi. She and her daughter-in-law Kavita had cooked the wild mushrooms and taken them with rotis.
The chief medical officer, Dr Kumar Aditya said that a Health department team had reached the village.
