Mist/shallow fog are likely to occur in isolated parts in the plains of Kumaon region during morning/early morning hours. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State. The maximum and minimum temperatures are also expected to continue dropping in the coming days. According to the State meteorological centre, the provisional State capital will experience mainly clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 28 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius respectively on Friday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Thursday were 28 degrees Celsius and 14.3 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 29.3 degrees Celsius and 13.1 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 20.5 degrees Celsius and 6.6 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar, 21.6 degrees Celsius and 9.4 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
