In latest Dehradun news, a woman teacher filed a complaint at a police station, alleging that she had been molested while returning home in Dehradun from her Saharanpur-based school in a road transport corporation bus. As per her complaint, three persons, travelling in the same bus with her, sprayed some drug-laced liquid on her face. As she was semi-conscious, one of them allegedly pressed a drug-soaked cloth to her nose and subsequently she lost her consciousness. When the bus was passing through the tunnel near Dat Kali temple she was molested with the bus lights switched off. She further said in her complaint that a few persons had been following her for some days. She also said that she was convinced that the whole incident had happened with the connivance of the conductor.
The police have lodged a case against unidentified persons and started investigation. Besides, the police apprised the road transport corporation of the incident. It is learnt that the corporation has begun probing the case at its own level.
