The Dehradun regional office of the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) celebrated its 88th foundation day along with all the local branches on Saturday.
The senior regional manager of Dehradun region Atul Singh inaugurated the commemorative programme followed by tree plantation, health check-up camp for customers and distribution of ration material among the inmates of All India Mahila Ashram, Kanwali organised by the staffers.
Singh, in his address, explained to the staff members the significance of the foundation day and also about the vision and future growth plans of the bank. He said that IOB is all set to open more than half a dozen new branches across Uttarakhand in the coming few months.
