While representing Uttarakhand at a programme organised in Kevadia (Gujarat) on the occasion of National Unity Day and the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Thursday, the Tourism and Culture minister, Satpal Maharaj said that his State has been taking forward the spirit of ‘One India, Best India’ that the Iron Man of India had dreamt of.
“Uttarakhand has the privilege of presenting its culture, cuisine, tourism potential and 25 years of development journey in this event,” he said. “Uttarakhand is celebrating the silver jubilee year of its statehood. In the last few years, Uttarakhand has witnessed all-round development under the dynamic guidance of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and the stewardship of chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami,” he added.
Along with folk dances and songs, visitors enjoyed Garhwali and Kumaoni cuisine at the Uttarakhand pavilion.
