The vice-chancellor of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Prof Manmohan Singh Chauhan was presented with ‘Professor M R Srinivasan Memorial Lecture and Oration Award’ at the 52nd Dairy Industry Conference held in New Delhi. The conference was organised by the Indian Dairy Association. He was also presented with an honorarium of Rs 50,000 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to dairy science and agriculture. The IDA sources said that the award acknowledges his significant efforts in advancing research, innovation and academic excellence in the field of dairy science.
The faculty members, scientists and staff of GBPUAT congratulated Prof Chauhan on this achievement, saying that this recognition is a matter of immense pride for the university as well as for Uttarakhand.
